The Rules of Hourly Billing

I was just notified of a great post on the Ten Rules About Hourly Billing. It's written by Matt Homann, a lawyer by trade.

Matt's list is a great example why I, as a consultant, avoid at all costs doing a project by the hour. It's about the value you provide to the client and if you can put a price on your services that both you and the client feel is fair, you don't have to pull teeth to be compensated for your efforts.
